GOOD DISPENSING MANUAL (KITABU CHA MWONGOZO WA UTOAJI SAHIHI WA DAWA)

Introduction
This manual is available in Kiswahili language, titled ‘Mwongozo wa Utoaji Sahihi wa Dawa' and it was published in 1997. It is a unique manual in Tanzania which guides good dispensing in all medicines outlets such as hospitals, dispensaries, pharmacies and medical stores.

It aims at describing important allusions on preparation and dispensing of medicine to patients. The manual also describes the quality of medications to be available in drug outlets in the country. It is therefore important for all medicine dispensers to be aware on good dispensing practices and use the expertise to promote rational use of drugs by correctly dispensing the prescribed and over the counter drugs to patients.
